From Student Audiences . . .

Corey served as our keynote speaker for Career and Student Success Week. He was motivating, engaging, and funny! Connecting with a virtual audience is challenging to say the least, but Corey did an amazing job drawing the students in and encouraging interaction. 10/10! Highly recommend him as a speaker for your next event. We can’t wait to have him inspire our students again!

As quite the studious individual I used to believe that endless hours of dedicated school work would pave my way to success, that only school books could create a future of happiness for myself. After listening to Corey’s enriching speech I now think of the endless hours of studying I have done and wish I could have dedicated more time to the moments that are constantly fleeting because once they are gone, they are gone forever. Now I dedicate more time to watching my first niece grow up, getting to truly know my family and friends on a deeper level, as well as starting to piece together my own personal religious and spiritual beliefs. This is how you truly live an authentic life; not by a textbook, but by the genuine interactions and love that one can find by changing their priorities for the better, and, above all else, following your heart. I can’t thank him enough for all of the time saved, and moments unwasted.

Corey Ciocchetti is an outstanding speaker, inspiring audiences to explore their personal values and priorities. Our admission team regularly asks “Professor C” to speak to prospective students, giving them a glimpse of a DU classroom experience, an understanding of how a faculty member can influence their lives, while also reminding them of important virtues to achieve personal success. An evening with Corey is time well-spent.

Corey Ciocchetti came to speak at my campus and he was an inspiration to all the women present. He gave me a new outlook on how I should handle tough decisions when it comes to my future and handling stress. He also encouraged me as an individual to really go for whatever I think I’m called to do!

I wanted to personally thank you for coming to UC Davis and talking to the group of sorority girls. Your speech really made a difference in my life. I was crying so much during your speech because your talk made me open my eyes to what really matters in life. So thank you and I hope to help give your daughters a better world, one based on good morals and values.

Corey is an inspiring and engaging speaker. He quickly breaks through the superficial to make his audience authentically self-evaluate their goals and daily lives, to truly focus on what is most important to us. Everyone in the room felt a deep and powerful sense of self-reflection and inspiration. It is so hard to find the time and space to do this in our busy lives, and being able to do so in such an energy-filled, positive atmosphere is so refreshing.

Hi Dr. C! I just attended your talk at Bridgewater, and I just wanted to sincerely thank you. My life lately has been incredibly “cluttered”- 3 jobs, applying to PhD programs, independent research, a sorority, classes, and athletics are suffocating me lately. I had just been talking about how empty my life had been feeling, how unfulfilling and hectic it was becoming. So much of what you spoke about was precisely what I needed to hear and take to heart. Thank you so much for all of tonight.

Professor C leads by example. I have never met anyone more committed to his wife and daughters. Through his dedication to the Ethics Bootcamp program at DU, he demonstrated what it means to be a man of principle. He is one of the most genuine and caring people that I know.

I wanted to send a quick note and thank you for being you and taking the time to come out to AFLV West and speak so many sessions! I have never seen IFC men so engaged and passionate about a speaker at AFLV – or anywhere else – and I have taken SEVERAL delegations. In the years I have been doing this I have never had an individual IFC guy ask a speaker for a photo either! I am especially grateful when they find someone they connect with and think the community will connect with too. I know what a rarity and honor it is for a college student to have the level of respect and trust that the men do in you, and I wanted to make sure you knew.

Corey Ciocchetti has a special way with words. His keynotes and classes have had a significant impact on my worldview and outlook on life. He teaches valuable, everlasting lessons that extend far beyond any classroom, and is able to connect to a broad audience. I feel that his messages have guided and shaped me to be a better person, and I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to listen to him speak, and take all of his classes at The University of Denver. I believe Corey’s words change peoples lives for the better.

I had the privilege of hearing Corey speak at the Southeastern Greek Leadership Association Conference in Atlanta at the beginning of 2023. Corey was so inspiring and instilled many great lessons about leadership, integrity, and stress management that had a profound impact on me and my interfraternity council. I had a hard time looking up while Corey was talking, because I was so busy writing down almost everything he said, recognizing the value in his words and wanting to retain as much as possible. Since meeting Corey for the first time, he has become a mentor to me in many ways and a role model I strive to emulate.
